GRANT’S HOME FRONT: Join us in historic Galena, Illinois for the FOURTH year of U.S. Grant’s Home Front in Galena.  Experience a great event run by reenactors in this 1860’s town. 

Over 4,000 public visited this event last year! 

The event includes: Tours of Grant’s home, Fashion Show, Afternoon Dance, Battles each day. 

Amenities include: home cooked breakfast on Saturday. Discounts available for period dressed reenactors at the restaurants in Galena. 
Seeking both Confederate and Union Infantry for battles fought along the river front. Artillery and Medical are by special invitation only. Dismounted Cavalry (no horses please). 
Special Civilian Camping for the Event. 
There is no fee but all reenactors must pre-register prior to March 15, 2017 to participate in the Sat. Breakfast and any bounties offered.

TRI-STATE PRESENTS TO SCALES MOUNDS SCHOOLS

 On November 6, 2014 Tri-State presented to Scales Mounds students in Grades 4-12. Dance and medicine were topics presented to the students.

Students are learning what soldiers died 
from during the Civil War.
