SCHEDULED FOR 2024
APRIL 27-28, 2024

Reenactor set up Friday, April 26, 2024



GRANT’S HOME FRONT: Join us in historic Galena, Illinois for the Seventh year of U.S. Grant’s Home Front in Galena IN 2024.  Experience a great event run by reenactors in this 1860’s town. 

Over 3,000 public visited this event last year! 

Battles each day: Saturday at 11:30 am, Sunday at 1:30 pm

Amenities include a home-cooked breakfast on Saturday. Discounts are available for period-dressed reenactors at the restaurants in Galena. 
Seeking both Confederate and Union Infantry for battles fought along the riverfront. 
Artillery and Medical are CLOSED. 
Dismounted Cavalry (no horses please). 
Special Civilian Camping for the Event.

TRI-STATE PRESENTS TO SCALES MOUNDS SCHOOLS

 On November 6, 2014 Tri-State presented to Scales Mounds students in Grades 4-12. Dance and medicine were topics presented to the students.

Students are learning what soldiers died 
from during the Civil War.
